Thanksgiving 2018 has come and gone, and dogs of Instagram enjoyed their holiday.

Whether it meant snacking, watching TV, or playing outside with friendly strangers, Thanksgiving 2018 had a lot to offer for our pets, and for us as well.

(Canadian dogs had their Thanksgiving about six weeks ago, but they enjoyed it, too.)

A car trip was pretty likely, either to Grandma’s yesterday or Black Friday shopping today, as this German Shepherd is so helpfully demonstrating.

Dressing up in a fancy sweater might have been part of the day’s events, like it was for Buttercup.

While I doubt that many people had turkeys so delicious-looking as their meal, I suppose it would be a great holiday to get a little practice with the smoker.

It’s safe to say that Baxter LOVED his first Thanksgiving.

Ranger, the New York Rangers’ therapy-dog-in-training, wanted to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving 2018.

He then had to take a nap following lunch in order to get all rested up to cheer on the Rangers when they take on the Philadelphia Flyers this afternoon.

Whiskey the Whippet won Best in Show at the National Dog Show, but that didn’t stop Archer the Lab from dreaming of competing in the event one day.

Dogs had to join in on the fun of the backyard football game – all that chasing and crunching through the leaves looked way too great to resist.

Somebody really needs to show these Boston Terriers’ people Air Bud: Golden Receiver…pups can play football just fine, thanks!

This little guy watched on the Noisy Box as his Atlanta Falcons played the New Orleans Saints in the night game. Unfortunately for him, Drew Brees and the Saints won their 10th game in a row 31-17.

Fred and Misty had a great great day, but these siblings needed a nap after all the festivities.

And now that’s Friday, know what that means? EATING ALL THE LEFTOVERS!
