Our favorite Petco Halloween costumes
Halloween is coming up fast – is your costume planned? Is your dog’s?
For today’s Sunday Countdown, we’ll look at Halloween costumes that will make you howl at how adorable your doggo is.
Petco has a variety of canine costumes available, if you choose to dress your dog up for the holiday. (Not everyone does, but it’s cute.)
That said, here are some of their best costumes available, according to Dog O’Day staff:
5 – Hot Dog
By Bootique, this costume (officially “Hot Diggety Dog”) makes your pupper into a pup-in-a-blanket, complete with a squiggle of mustard and relish around the edges. It’s $17.49, and comes in 2XSmall, XSmall, Small, Medium, Large, 2XLarge and 3XLarge.
It isn’t ranked higher because a hot dog is pretty cliche as far as dog costumes go.
4 – Convict
By Bootique, this prisoner costume could be just right for working dogs associated with law enforcement, law-enforcement personnel, or fans of The Andy Griffith Show. “All right, Lefty, me and you’s bustin’ out tonight!”
It’s $17.49 right now, and comes in 2XSmall, Small, Medium, Large, XLarge and 2XLarge.
3 – R2-D2
If you or your pet is a Star Wars fan, this hoodie transforming into the eccentric astromech droid could be a pawfect fit to wear while out saving the galaxy.
It’s $7.99 right now, and is available in Small, Medium, Large, XLarge, 2XLarge and 3XLarge.
2 – Tuxedo
From You & Me Dog, this tuxedo T-Shirt would be just right for weddings, funerals, graduations, etc. Or for pretending to be Bark, James Bark.
It’s $14.99 and is available in XSmall, Small, Medium, Large and XLarge sizes.
1 – Rocker
By Bootique, this Mohawk (officially the “Bad to the Bone Light-Up Dog Costume”) and studded leather collar are just right for dogs or owners who love punk rock and jammin’ out to Barking for Soup, New Hound Glory or Relient K-9.
It’s $10.49, and comes in either Small/Medium or Large/XLarge size.
Also, there is the Pets First NFL jersey collection, featuring all 32 NFL teams, in addition to pink and camo jerseys for each team. Because of licensing fees, these are currently $23.99.
