College football is in full swing, which means our pups are cheering on their favorite teams on the Noisy Box each fall Saturday.
Here’s your weekly roundup of canine-centric NCAA Division I college football scores for Week 7 of the 2018 season.
It was a rough week to be an underdog for most of the schools we mention in this column, and it wasn’t much easier to be an alpha dog, either.
But as always, there were plenty of pigskin-loving pooches who were barking encouragement all the way.

This Pekignese was wagging full force to cheer on the Alabama Crimson Tide.
This Michigan doggo and his mom enjoyed the tailgating before the Wolverines took the field.
Week 7 began for some strange reason on Tuesday night this week in the Sun Belt Conference, as the Arkansas State Red Wolves were flattened 35-9 by the Appalachian State Mountaineers.
In the Southeastern Conference on Saturday, Uga’s No. 2 Georgia Bulldogs were chewed up and spit out by the Tigers of No. 13 LSU to the tune of a 36-16 score.
Elsewhere in the SEC, Smokey’s Tennessee Volunteers upset the No. 21 Auburn Tigers 30-24, and Reveille’s No. 22 Texas A&M Aggies emerged triumphant from their 26-23 contest with the Gamecocks of South Carolina.
In the MAC, the Northern Illinois Huskies topped the Ohio Bobcats 24-21 to improve to 4-3 on the season.
Louisiana Tech’s Bulldogs crushed the UTSA Roadrunners 31-3 in Conference USA play, improving their record to 4-2.
In the Mountain West, the New Mexico Lobos were beaten 20-18 by the Rams of Colorado State.
Elsewhere in the MW, Nevada’s Wolf Pack were outsmarted by Boise State’s Broncos 31-27, while the Fresno State Bulldogs tripped up the Wyoming Cowboys 27-3, improving their record to 5-1.
Finally in the Pac 12, Dubs’ No. 7 Washington Huskies were defeated 30-27 in overtime on the road at the No. 17 Oregon Ducks.
The North Carolina State Wolfpack, Mississippi State Bulldogs and UConn Huskies were all off this weekend.
