Do you love dogs? (Obviously, or you wouldn’t be on this site.) Would you like to write about them? If so, you might be pawfect, because Dog O’Day is now seeking writers.

Dog O’Day is looking for contributors to add to our pack at the site. We’re looking to make the site a one-stop shop for everything possibly relating to canines and the humans who love them.

Breed introductions? Yup, we’ve got those.

Training tips? They’re very welcome!

If you’d like to write about and review the latest in dog literatureTVmusic and movies, this is the right place.

Sporty dogs running fast, leaping far and catching things? That coverage is tentatively scheduled to start this week.

Dog shows more your thing? We’ll be covering those some in the future, and would appreciate your help.

Writing for us would give you the chance to interview really cool people who do really amazing things.

Health and wellness? Of course we need those types of articles. And science explained in layman’s terms.

Obscure information and cool facts are always welcome, as are canine history and those bizarre stories that make you go, “OMG! That’s so weird! I gotta tell people about it!”

Maybe you work at an animal-supply store and want to explain to the general public what that’s like – we could figure out a way to use that, sure.

We like lists about all types of subjects, and would welcome pieces on the good work animal shelters are doing around the country.

Dog O’Day uses AP Style, so if you’re a high school or college student interested in journalism, this would be a good place to learn the basics, or to get some extra practice. (And good credits to add to your portfolio!)

This also might be a good hobby for a retired person as a way to stay busy.

If you’re interested, fill out the application today, and be sure to follow us on Facebook and Twitter for more tail-waggin’ fun and interesting canine information.
