Adorable dog invades pitch during an Argentina soccer match (Video)

An adorable dog invaded the pitch and then evaded capture during a soccer match in Argentina.

Every once in a while, there will be a time when we’re watching a sports event and something unexpected happens. Usually, this is a play or something having to do with the game. Other times it’s an animal that probably didn’t pay for a ticket crashing the field.

That was the case this week during an Argentine soccer match (you can tell we’re an American blog now, our hand has been tipped). The match was being played between San Lorenzo and Arsenal de Sarandi, but was halted when a dog decided to sprint onto the pitch and start playing with the ball.

And who could blame him?

The best part about this was no one seemed remotely upset by what was going on, which is as it should be. Just watch you won’t be disappointed:

There’s so much to love about this, not the least of which is the dog was interviewed after the game. This is how it should be when a dog — or any animal — invade a sports game. There’s no need to be upset, rather embrace the moment for what it is: adorable.
