Lucky Whitehead’s dog returned home safe, and we couldn’t be more happy

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Lucky Whitehead’s dog was stolen from him, but the story has a happy ending for (mostly) everyone.

The worst feeling a dog owner can have is coming home and not knowing where your best friend is. Most of the time they just got into something and they’re busy running amuck, but sometimes it’s more serious.

That was the case for NFL player Lucky Whitehead, who is a wide receiver for the Dallas Cowboys. Someone allegedly stole his Pit Bull and demanded a ransom, which is not only bizarre but is a feeling no one should have to endure.

Thankfully, the story has a happy ending for the good guys. Whitehead posted a video on his Snapchat telling the world that his dog had been returned home safe.

We love a story with a happy ending. We can’t speak to how this ends for the kidnappers, but the right people came out on top here.

You don’t need to be a Cowboys fan — or even a football fan — to feel good about this. So in honor of this happy reunion, we’re making Lucky Whitehead’s dog our Tuesday Dog of the Day.
