If you love hitting up the local pet shop to find unique and specialty pet treats, why not bake your own Puppy Cake at home?

At the 2019 Global Pet Expo, industry professionals in the world of animals get a chance to see a number of new products that can help make our pets’ lives better or that they will enjoy in addition to some of their longtime favorites. While the Expo is only open to buyers, distributors, and retailers, the American Kennel Club had a chance to explore and introduce us to new things, including the Puppy Cake mix.

For fans of Shark Tank, you may already be familiar with Puppy Cake mix, as it was a featured product on the show that has seen major growth since it was a part of the series. However, at the Global Pet Expo, the specialty mix got a chance to shine once again as it was able to get in front of a whole new market of retailers.

What makes Puppy Cake mix so special is the fact that it allows you the chance to make your pup a special treat in the comfort of your own home. So, instead of hitting up the local dog bakery or even the local pet shop, you get the chance to make a homemade dog treat of your very own.

Luckily, if you decide you want to give this mix a try for yourself, Amazon has you covered with boxes coming in at $8.99 each. Not only does this mix make your pup the perfect, wheat-free cake, but the box comes with a dog-friendly frosting as well. And the fact that you can either bake it or use the microwave to make this special treat means you don’t even have to be a master baker to treat your pup to the good stuff.

If your pup loves peanut butter, then this cake mix is exactly what they have been waiting for. So make them a cake or create 8 individual cupcakes, and let your furry friend enjoy something special that you made just for them.

What do you think of the Puppy Cake mix? Would you make this for your pup? Tell us what you think in the comments.
